The Winnipeg Free Press reports that, "Jo-Anne Albert says her community had been following the case and had been praying Jessica Lloyd would be found alive. Ontario Provincial Police confirmed this morning that Lloyd's body has been found. The 27-year-old woman had been missing since Jan. 28.
Sgt. Kristine Rae says a man was arrested Sunday in connection with Lloyd's disappearance and death.
She adds that during the investigation, other incidents in the area were examined resulting in more criminal charges.
Rae says no further details will be announced until a 1 p.m. ET news conference in Belleville.
A family friend, who did not want to be identified, told The Canadian Press earlier that Lloyd's family was told about the discovery of the woman's body on Sunday night.

I did not know Jessica, but have been following this story since she went missing. As the mother of two daughter's, I am saddened and sickened about what happened! I cannot believe that a member of Canada's armed forces is responsible for this and other crimes!!!!It makes me sick to my stomach, am so ashamed, my late father served in World War 2, and was a proud soldier, he would "turn over in his grave" if he were still alive!!!!! I did not know Jessica, but have been following this story since she went missing. As the mother of two daughter's, I am saddened and sickened about what happened! I cannot believe that a member of Canada's armed forces is responsible for this and other crimes!!!!It makes me sick to my stomach, am so ashamed, my late father served in World War 2, and was a proud soldier, he would "turn over in his grave" if he were still alive!!!!! Immediately I said prayers for the safe return of Jessica and for strength for her family and friends.
